Case Study

Arklow Business Enterprise Centre

Utility managementArklow Business Enterprise Centre has been a client of Avail Energy Ltd for over 4 years. It is a multi unit enterprise centre housed under one roof, with one electricity meter meaning one supply / bill. Its tariff type is low voltage maximum demand using approx. 175,000 units of electricity per year day and night. Overall this amounts to about €27,000 spend per annum.

In the beginning of our relationship with ABEC, we took a look back over their billing information, which is our usual practice. This is done to make sure there were no errors made and to get any money back as a result of finding them. Since then we have handled their contract procurement, managed and monitored to ensure the suppliers are keeping to the agreed terms, corrected any inconsistencies and made recommendations when necessary. One of our most recent investigations into their supply uncovered a refund of almost €700.

Part of our service, which is prominent here, is to manage the energy supply off site and to comment and visit frequently.
